The next step for Mr. Al Wazzan and ChemiKuwait is to export themselves: He intends to establish manufacturing plants in Tunisia and Morocco, at the invitation of the governments there, to furnish his petrochemical products to the local markets and export to countries in the surrounding region. His plans call for the creation of green manufacturing facilities that will also pro- vide export outlets for the same products he currently processes in Kuwait and, as his production capacity increases abroad, he sees ChemiKuwait as a preferred customer to other GCC countries who also want to penetrate international markets.
