Faisal became increasingly involved in the manufacturing side of the Group, rising to the Chairmanship of SAJA, as well as Vice Chairman of ARABIO, a joint venture with several other companies, which manufactures vaccines under license from Novartis. Dealing with the production of pharmaceuticals naturally led Mr. Tamer to becoming involved with government regulations and interaction with the Saudi government.
