« Beyond her current roles at UBT, Dr. Shoaib is currently providing consultancy for the Ministry of Interior Affairs, but her primary goal is to progress further on her academic path until she reaches the rank of full professor. Future plans for the College of Advertising include developing the online education model further, to explore new possibilities, and establishing Master’s and Ph.D programs. For someone who had to leave Saudi Arabia to pursue post-graduate studies in her given field, seeing these new opportunities for students come to fruition—at the university where she has both studied and taught— should bring Haneen Shoaib considerable satisfaction, and a sense of affirmation of her chosen journey. »
