After nearly 2 years at Christies, Ms. Al Sabah became Director of the Middle East at Phillips de Pury & Company; a smaller, more specialized, auction house that planned to expand to the Middle East. Among her many duties was to oversee 2 major auctions a year, as well as travel the area interfacing with Arab and Iranian collectors.
