Since her earliest childhood, Fawzia Al Rashid has been helping others less fortunate than she. He mother instilled a sense of civic duty in the young women that had her working for charitable causes from her home, creating hand crafts to sell for charities at local fairs and fund raisers. The work was fulfilling enabling her to learn more about the needs of her people, especially women, and use that knowledge to develop fledgling programs to help the uneducated find a place within the productive community.
