“Initially, First Equilease was set up for a single, major leasing project. After it was completed, the owners decided to reposition the company into a business that can serve multiple clients on an ongoing basis. With huge growth in infrastructure building in the Gulf, there was an obvious opportunity to meet demand coming from government and private sector construction projects. With the aim of making First Equilease one of the first major players in equipment leasing in Kuwait, Mohammad Al Qahtany first had to change the way things operated at the company before he could re-establish it in the marketplace.”
