Mr. Mishari I. Al Mishari has been a central figure in Saudi banking for a long time: in a career spanning 28 years, including 15 years with Citibank and SAMBA (Saudi American Bank) plus 13 years as CEO of Bank Al Jazira, one of the fastest growing financial institutions in the GCC, his track record has been one of progressive success. He joined the corporate banking world with SAMBA in 1978 after graduating from the University of Oregon and quickly moved up through the ranks. He was appointed Head of the Central Region for the retail bank in 1984 and, the following year, head of the entire branch network.
