He chose the most important companies in each industry to represent, making propositions to such large US, French and British concerns as Lockheed, Northrop, Grumman, Raytheon, and Thomson, and soon developed a menu of powerful companies exclusively represented through his net- work. “We did good business with them. They wanted to sell their products and services, so we opened the market for them. Our turnover over time ballooned to about 10 billion dollars.
