The Al Khaled world is, of course, (ACICO) one of the largest construction, manufacturing and real estate conglomerates in the Arab Gulf. Started in 1990 under license from the German Hebel International Company, ACICO has plants in Kuwait and also in the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The core businesses are manufacturing heavy duty, light-weight building units of reinforced and non-reinforced aerated concrete, manufactured using the most advanced autoclaves from such basic raw materials as quartz sand, cement, and lime.
