
The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri), a SR11 billion marine transportation and logistics group established by Royal decree in 1979 appointed Saleh Al Jasser as CEO on the 1st of November 2010 with a portfolio to develop strategies for the board and oversees a group of diversi ed shipping enterprises covering, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Dry Bulk, General Cargo services and Ship Management. Bahri is also on route towards becoming involved in more businesses adjacent to shipping and logistics. In a most recent development, he has piloted Bahri towards an epic agreement with Saudi Aramco to merge the latter’s (via its subsidiary, Vela Int. Marine Ltd.)
