“The Bukhamseen Group began more than 50 years ago with the entrepreneurial efforts of Jawad Ahmed Bukhamseen, the father of Dr. Osama Bukhamseen. Focused first on real estate, the company has grown over the decades into an international, multi-sector conglomerate. On his father’s advice, the younger Bukhamseen joined the School of Engineering at Kuwait University in 1988. He excelled there, aided by the hands-on experience gained through working in the family business while studying. His first project, in 2004, was a complex of six residential buildings on which he worked as part of the engineering staff.
