Omar Bahlaiwa began his career with the Council of Saudi Chambers in 2000 as the Assistant Secretary General for Foreign Affairs. During the 3 years he held that post, he led delegations all over the world promoting bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia. In 2003 he was selected as Secretary General of the Committee for International Trade (CIT), the post he currently holds today.
