« Dr. Alkhedheiri started his career in the public sector. He served as the Assistant Deputy Minister for Town Planning at the Ministry of Municipality and Rural Affairs, and then worked as the Technical Director for the Regional Planning Program at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). After spending a few years abroad in the US and United Kingdom to continue his higher education, he held the roles of Deputy Governor of the Asir region, Deputy Governor of the Makkah region and Governor of Makkah City.
