Abbar & Sons (AMASONS) is a family-owned, diversified trading and investment group created in 2007 to oversee the operations of the15 other family companies already active in the importing and distributing food products, warehousing and logistics, retail, restaurants, shipping, biotechnology, petroleum, real estate development and construction. The Group was, indeed, originally started as a retail grocery store in Makkah back in 1954 by Mr. Abbar’s grandfather, and expanded into a food commodity trading concern in 1968 that specialized in fresh fruits, frozen meats, cheeses and dairy products.
